Baseball On The Radio
Almost. By "radio", I mean "laptop." I shelled out for MLB.com's gameday audio. I'm that baseball-starved. That, and impulsive with my credit card.
So it sounds like Scott Richmond had two very nice innings, despite nailing a batter and Sloppy Joe trying to throw the ball across highway 19.
Snider just hit one into the Tiki Pavillion! (Which I hope is open when I'm there for a B game next week.)

I Printed Off This Quote And Hung It Next To My Chin-Up Bar.
From ESPN's Jayson Stark:
" 'What (Doc) does in between starts is even harder than what he does on the mound,' says longtime teammate Vernon Wells. 'The other day, he came in early. Then he went on a 30-, 40-minute run. Then he came back in and did the Tour de France on the stationary bike. Then he went out for our workout. Then he came back in and did another 30-minute run.' "
On the health/fitness forums I belong to, the know-it-alls would probably call this overtraining. Harry Leroy Halladay calls it Tuesday.
So far, I just hang off that chin-up bar like a dead fish.

Stuff.
I got nothin', really.
Just massive props to Jordan Bastian, Photojournalist, for making our lives complete over the last week or so. ♥
Earlier this week, a friend and I were musing about how, back in the day, "spring training" was little more than a teaser on the radio while we were trying to drag our sorry asses out of bed at ridiculous o'clock in the morning to go to school. Now, it seems like we're practically there. What did we do before the 'net?

A Sight For Sore Eyes
There are lots of spring training photos popping up already, and that one is my favorite. I can almost feel the sunshine.

Inside the Clubhouse
So next in the series of Flex Pack perks was an autograph signing with Pink Round Efficient Wonder™ Jesse Litsch and Great Big Pasty White Hope™ Travis Snider at the Rogers Centre.
If you were there, and you saw two chicks being total spazzes, laughing hysterically, taking a gazillion pictures, pretending to move our stuff into a locker, diving on the big comfy couch, I swear, I had nothing to do with it.
Honest.
